Member Training |
Training is available to all members of the Auxiliary by way of courses in leadership, member training, value-added training and Auxop Specialty courses. Also available to members is the National Testing Center which offers many online exams for qualification of required program competencies. Many of the Auxiliary Programs can be taken at the National Testing Center web site (www.cgaux.ntc.org). Programs that are not offered online, such as crew, can be supplemented with manuals. See your Flotilla Commander or Materials Officer. It is the responsibility of each member to study and prepare for the program they have selected. Mentors are available for guidance and sign offs. When the member feels that he/she is prepared to meet with a mentor, the Flotilla Member Training Staff Officer (FSO-MT) is then notified. The FSO-MT will direct the member to the appropriate mentor for that particular program. The member contacts the mentor to arrange a convenient time and place for both in order for the sign off process or practical part of the program to begin. |
